Covid: Children's extremely low risk confirmed by study

from the BBC

The overall risk of children becoming severely ill or dying from Covid is extremely low, a new analysis of Covid infection data confirms.

Data from the first 12 months of the pandemic in England shows 25 under-18s died from Covid.

Those living with multiple chronic illnesses and neuro-disabilities were most at risk, though the overall risk remained low.

The conclusions are being considered by the UK's vaccine advisory group.

Currently, under-18s are not routinely offered Covid vaccines, even if they have other underlying health conditions that put them at risk.

Scientists from University College London, and the Universities of York, Bristol and Liverpool say their studies of children are the most comprehensive yet anywhere in the world.

They checked England's public health data and found most of the young people who had died of Covid-19 had underlying health conditions:

  • Around 15 had life-limiting or underlying conditions, including 13 living with complex neuro-disabilities

  • Six had no underlying conditions recorded in the last five years - though researchers caution some illnesses may have been missed

  • A further 36 children had a positive Covid test at the time of their death but died from other causes, the analysis suggests

  • Though the overall risks were still low, children and young people who died were more likely to be over the age of 10 and of Black and Asian ethnicity.

Researchers estimate that 25 deaths in a population of some 12 million children in England gives a broad, overall mortality rate of 2 per million children.

Current data shows some 128,301 people in the UK have died within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test since the pandemic started.

'Hospital stays rare'

Dr Elizabeth Whittaker, from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and Imperial College London, said it was encouraging they were seeing very few seriously unwell children in hospital.

She added: "Although this data covers up to February 2021, this hasn't changed recently with the Delta variant. We hope this data will be reassuring for children and young people and their families."

13 year old dies three days after 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine

by Sharyl Attkisson

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating the case of a 13-year-old Saginaw County boy who died in his sleep three days after getting his second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in mid-June.

The county health department confirmed the investigation, telling the Free Press that the medical examiner's office conducted an autopsy and the death was reported to the state health department as well as the CDC.

"The investigation as to whether there is a correlation between his death and vaccination is now at the federal level with CDC," said a joint statement issued by Saginaw County Health Department Medical Director Dr. Delicia Pruitt and Health Officer Christina Harrington.

The boy, Jacob Clynick, lived in Zilwaukee and had just completed eighth grade when he got his second dose of the Pfizer vaccine June 13 at a Walgreens store, said Tammy Burages, his aunt.

Bird Brained Advice

i think maybe lots of people get pretty confused by how twitter selects its experts.

but i think it’s probably just like what we learned in kittengarten:

can you even remember the last time a school you went to or had kids in closed because too many teachers were sick?

in my entire childhood, i cannot remember a single one.

yet here we had such a “large number of staff have a negative reaction to the covid booster shot” that they had to cancel school.

Time for our "Normandy Beach" moment

Land on the vaccinators beach and conquer it!

please share and spread this post far and wide to grow our army.

The tide is turning

You might think that with approval of Pfizer vax for little children, all hope is lost. But the opposite is true: the vaccinators are now “jumping the shark” with kids, in order to keep the momentum, which they are losing. The tide IS turning.

The vaccinators are failing with Chicago police, failed with New York firefighters, Southwest Airlines, Delta airlines and American Airlines. This is becoming apparent. Just about any small business is loath to impose mandates due to worker shortage. No business supports mandates that are detrimental to their workforce.

The incredibly inhuman, cruel and divisive vaccine mandates completely turned the tide in the recent Virginia election, contributing to turning almost 15% of electorate against Democrats, and delivered a number of other Republican victories due to the “anyone but these criminals” mood among many voters. Globalists are now scared and confused.

It becomes harder and harder to hide that the vaccine is not working, and people are increasingly questioning the wisdom of endless boosters. Someone almost always knows someone whose acquaintance died or was hurt by vaccines. I know of at least two.

OSHA Vaccine Mandate Halted

Appeals Court Halts Rollout of Biden’s Company Rule

A federal appeals court in New Orleans temporarily halted nationwide implementation of the Biden administration’s mandate that all employees at companies with more than 100 workers must get Covid-19 vaccinations by Jan. 4.

A panel of judges in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Saturday that the vaccine mandate announced by President Joe Biden should be paused over concerns about its constitutionality. The lawsuit against the mandate was filed by a number of states including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Utah.

Sounds fair

Legal Update 10/5/21: UC Has Put Me on Leave After I Challenged Their Vaccine Mandate in Court

Instead of waiting for the Federal court to decide my case, the University of California has banned me from working on campus or working from home

by Aaron Kheriaty, MD

Here is the latest move by the University of California in response to my lawsuit in Federal court challenging their vaccine mandate on behalf of Covid-recovered individuals with natural immunity. Last Thursday Sept 30th at 5:03 PM I received this letter from the University informing me that, as of the following morning, I was being placed on “Investigatory Leave” for my failure to comply with the vaccine mandate. I was given no opportunity to contact my patients, students, residents, or colleagues and let them know I would disappear for a month. Rather than waiting for the court to make a ruling on my case, the University has taken action..

…You might be thinking, a month of paid leave doesn’t sound so bad. But the language is misleading here, since half of my income from the University comes from clinical revenues generated from seeing my patients, supervising resident clinics, and engaging in weekend and holiday on-call duties. So while on leave my salary is significantly cut. Furthermore, my contract stipulates that I am not able to conduct any patient care outside the University: to see my current patients, or to recoup my losses by moonlighting as a physician elsewhere, would violate the terms of my contract.

It came as no surprise that, since my request for a preliminary injunction was not granted by the court, the University would immediately begin procedures to dismiss me. However, in the complicated legal game of three-dimensional chess I did not anticipate this particular development: the current administrative designation, where I am neither able to work at the University nor permitted to pursue work elsewhere, was not a development I had anticipated. The University may be hoping this pressure will lead me to resign “voluntarily,” which would remove grounds for my lawsuit: if I resign prior to being terminated by the University, I have no legal claim of harm.

I have no intention at this time of resigning, withdrawing my lawsuit, or having an unnecessary medical intervention forced on me, in spite of these challenging circumstances. You may be wondering about the CA Department of Public Health vaccine mandate mentioned in the University’s letter: yes, I am subject to two mandates, the UC mandate as a faculty member and the CA State mandate as a healthcare provider. Regarding the latter mandate, I filed a similar lawsuit in Federal court last Friday against the State Public Health Department. I will post more later on that case as it develops.

The Preliminary Injunction is Here. Here Are Some Critically Important Resources on PCR False Positives

by James Lyons-Weiler

The temporary injunction on the Biden administration’s draconian mandate will offer some relief to millions of Americans who face being forced, against their wills, into receiving an injection that could have negative long term effects.

Companies across the US faced an uncertain future if the one-hundred million of non-vaccinating American workers opted for PCR testing rather than submit to the forced vaccinations sought by Biden through a ruling issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Studies have shown that PCR testing has an unacceptably high false positive rate, meaning that each time a person would be tested, there would be a higher chance they would have to quarantine at home for ten days due to an error in the test than due to a viable infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Letter to a Holocaust Denier

“‘Oh, things seeped through somehow, always quietly, always indirectly. So people heard rumors, and the rest they could guess. Of course, most people did not believe the stories of Jews or other opponents of the regime. It was naturally thought that such persons would all exaggerate.’

“Rumors, guesses enough to make a man know if he wanted badly to know, or at least to believe, and always involving persons who would be suspected, ‘naturally,’ of exaggerating. Goebbels’ immediate subordinate in charge of radio in the Propaganda Ministry testified at Nuremberg that he had heard of the gassing of Jews, and went to Goebbels with the report. Goebbels said it was false, ‘enemy propaganda,’ and that was the end of it.”

—Milton Mayer, They Thought They Were Free: The Germans, 1933–45 (paperback, Kindle, audiobook)

You mock the suffering of people who lost loved ones or endured permanent afflictions.

You build a wall to repel threatening facts and lock yourself inside a circle of fellow deniers who reinforce your beliefs.

Oh wait, you thought I was talking about the World War II Holocaust?

No, no. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I’m talking about the Holocaust that’s happening at this very moment—and on a scale Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Idi Amin, Kim Il-Sung, Pinochet, and Pol Pot would never have dared conceive.

…Oh, that’s right, you poo-poo VAERS and similar surveillance systems as a “dropbox” where anyone can submit reports—that’s the talking point your persuaders have sledgehammered into your spin-washed and fabric-softened brain, right?

Do realize that whatever twaddle you’ve heard about VAERS from the BigPharma–Big Brother–Big Media–Big Tech propaganda complex was concocted to smear a reporting system that has been successfully used in the early detection of adverse events for three decades, is frequently referenced in peer-reviewed papers, is understood in the scientific community to be significantly underreported, and has been used to pull previous vaccines after as few as 15 reports of adverse events in the past (that is, when pharmaceutical corporations actually had to face the possibility of liability for their products and hadn’t been guaranteed impunity via Emergency Use Authorizations).
