California Assembly Bill 455

URGENT: They are trying to sneak this through

People are holding a rally on Sept. 8 at the California State Capitol at 10 am and other places throughout the state (see below).

URGENT! Contact your CA senator TODAY and urge him or her to vote "No" on A.B. 455!

A.B. 455 will impose the strictest vaccine mandates in the nation on the people of California, requiring proof of the COVID vaccination before a visitor or shopper can enter an indoor “public establishment.” This includes restaurants, hotels, gyms, movie theaters, stadiums, exhibition or entertainment halls, and more.

This bill would also mandate that employees receive the COVID vaccine or weekly testing, or else face termination.

A.B. 455 was originally introduced as a bill regarding transportation, but was recently stripped of the original language (a procedure called “gut-and-amend”) and replaced with new language about COVID vaccinations.

Attorney Mark Meuser from Dillon Law firm said in a video on Facebook:  they are trying to SNEAK THIS BILL through, this is called Gut and Amend. They took an innocuous bill and CHANGED THE LANGUAGE OF IT ... Pan and Weiner are trying to slide this through quickly before anyone notices. He also said that IF this passes it will be the law for 100 years until another legislature takes this bill off the books!!!

It does not matter if your employer or a business owner wants to do this. This will impact your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A new Governor will not be able to do anything about this. They also have an EMERGENCY statute on this which means that this could take place ASAP. Governor Newsom, even if he is recalled, he could sign this into law right after September 10th.

You will be required to prove to your Employer that you took the vaccine or you will have to take weekly tests. And this also selects certain businesses. They cannot serve you if they don’t ask you for your vaccination status or the State can sue the business owner. If you try to go into a restaurant, if you do not show your vaccine card they must refuse you service. You will not be able to walk into a gas station that serves food without a card.

This is like Communist China where a woman cannot have more than one child. You will have NO choice but to get this shot. If you are mentally disabled or a prisoner you have a right to reject medical treatments. But prisoners and mentally unstable people will have more rights than tax paying citizens if this passes.

This is supposed to be a Republic in California. There are a lot of judges on the bench that agree with this bill. We must defeat this to make sure that this never gets passed. We need to let these people know ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Next year, they could decide people can be euthanized because there are too many people here. They could decide to override your choices about other things if this passes.

Our founding fathers were sick of tyranny like this. You will not be able to go to a political party convention or another event inside, your meeting will not be allowed to happen. Your FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT to assemble and talk about politics will NOT HAPPEN IN A RESTAURANT OR A CONVENTION CENTER. THIS WILL DEPRIVE YOU OF YOUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.

(Note: this bill violates other California laws)

Mark Meuser said all this on Facebook:

California Assembly Bill 455 - mandatory vaccination bill, what is in it and what should you do to stop it. This bill would make Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin proud.

Dear California Leaders who have introduced AB 455:

Let me get this straight. You are about to mandate that if someone is an employee in the state of California, they must be vaccinated. However, if someone is vaccinated and they get sick, it is the employer who now must pay them their regular hourly rate while the employee is sick from a vaccine that you are requiring them to inject into themselves.

First, if this vaccine was so safe, why in the world do you have to mandate that employers offer each employee who works for them 3 full days of pay for "symptoms related to a COVID-19 vaccine"? (what happens if/when a person dies? WHO PAYS FOR THEIR FAMILY, THEIR FUNERAL???)

Second, why in the world do employers have to pay the employees missed working hours for something you the legislature are mandating that they take in order for them to work?

It seems to me that if someone gets sick from taking a vaccine, that the manufacturer of the vaccine should be liable or maybe the legislature who is requiring people to take the vaccine.

I don't care if you are pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine, the legislature should not be mandating that people take medical treatment, especially when the legislature is not willing to make themselves liable for the consequences that could occur for those who take the vaccine.

Please call the governor's office and ask him to veto the measure. The Governor's office number is 916-445-2841.

Please also call your state senator and assemblyman. I will put a link in the comments below where you can type in your address and it will tell you who your representatives are. Only call your own senator and assemblyman because they are the one that represents you. You need to let them know that this bill does not represent your values. We need to melt the phone lines in Sacramento.

After you have called the Governor, your senator, and your assemblyman, please SHARE this post and tell your family and friends that you have called and now they should do the same if they do not want to live in a state where politicians get to tell you what you must think, what you must eat, whether you are allowed to travel, whether you can go to school, what stores you can visit, and what medications you must take.

French people Dine Outside Restaurants to Protest Vaccine Passports

Protesters dined while sitting on the ground outside cafes and restaurants in the French city of Reims on Wednesday, rejecting the country’s restrictive Covid-19 health-pass system.

In an action dubbed “the giant picnic”, people sat on the cobbles of Erlon Square, enjoying their meals outside cafes and restaurants where they could not enter unless they had a valid health pass.

Uganda's Tale of COVID-19, Medicine, and Vaccination

by Mathew Crawford

Pandemic Case Studies

The Central African nation of Uganda, a country of more than 45 million people, saw only 40 cases of COVID-19 through the end of March, 2020. Concerned about the potential for a more substantial outbreak of the fast-spreading coronavirus, Uganda jumped on the quickly-growing hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) HCQ bandwagon, most often using it as part of a multi-drug regimen in combination with azithromycin, zinc, vitamin C and vitamin D.

Through mid-July, Uganda had seen over 1,000 cases of COVID-19 without a single fatality---the largest such "perfect record" in the world at that point in time.

Wordometer: Uganda

In late July, citing the World Health Organization's claim of HCQ's lack of efficacyUganda dropped HCQ as their standard of care for COVID-19 patients. After that decision, during the last eight days of July, Uganda saw its first six COVID-19 fatalities. The cases were not growing so fast as the deaths as Uganda's case fatality rate (CFR) skyrocketed from the lowest level in the world to among the very highest at nearly 10%.

While it is unclear why a nation handling the pandemic so well would change treatment policy, it may be noteworthy that Uganda received millions of dollars from each the World Bank, the African Development Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, and that totaled more than $1 billion dollars, each within a few days of the decision. Most of that aid came in the form of loans, which angered many Ugandans.

In mid-October, the Daily Monitor declared, "New drug to curb rising COVID-19 deaths," as the expensive remdesivir got approved for treatment in Uganda. It sometimes seems strange how media outlets believe they know the results before they happen. However, Uganda saw cases and deaths climb for weeks afterward.

More recently, Uganda began its vaccination campaign on March 10, 2021. Since then, the CFR has once again jumped up above world averages, somewhat similar to what happened throughout Europe during the early days of its vaccine campaign.

Uganda has only vaccinated around 2% of its population, and that small portion far more gradually than did Europe. However, since the outset of Uganda's vaccination campaign, total COVID-19 deaths have jumped from 568 to around 3,000 as of August 27, 2021.

California Madness Mandates

A Voice for Choice Advocacy has sounded the warning for the past 18 months that societal vaccine mandates and vaccine passports are on their way to California.  Unfortunately, we were right!  Regardless of your current vaccine status, you should be extremely concerned with coming legislation.

With only two weeks of the legislative session left in California, there are two potential bills being brought forward by Assembly members Wicks, Low and Weber, as well as Senators Pan, Newman and Wiener

Sign This Petition

Potential AB455 language:

Potential AB1102 language:

These bills would:

1) Require ALL employers in California to require all their employees to be fully vaccinated.

2) Would require everyone 12 years and older to be fully vaccinated to enter any inn, hotel, motel, or lodging establishment, any restaurant, bar, cafeteria, lunchroom, lunch counter, soda fountain, or other facility principally engaged in selling food or beverages for consumption on the premises, and any motion picture house, theater, concert hall, sports arena, stadium, gym, spa, or other place of exhibition or entertainment.

The only exemptions will be medical and disability exemptions, with the slight possibility of a religious exemption.

Furthermore, there is no definition of "fully vaccinated."  It will likely be up to the California Department of Public Health to define that.  You may be fully vaccinated today with two vaccines, but tomorrow when CDPH decides you need a booster or three, you will be prevented from entering these establishments or keeping your job.  Your 11 year old will be able to come to restaurants with you but when they turn 12 years old, they will have to take however many doses of the vaccine to comply

So if you are not "fully vaccinated", you pretty much can't go inside anywhere other than the grocery store, the pharmacy and church.  You also can't go to work.  If this bill gets introduced and passes, we will be living in a fully totalitarian state, where discrimination and segregation are the norm.

- Those who are not currently vaccinated in California are disproportionately Black, Hispanic and Native American.  This bill will discriminate against these minority groups and will exacerbate already existing health inequities given minorities lesser access to the healthcare system.

- Those who have had COVID-19 and therefore have natural immunity, but would be considered unvaccinated, even though they are less likely to transmit COVID-19 than the vaccinated.

- Small businesses, which have already been hit hardest by COVID restrictions, will again be impacted.  45% of Californians will not be able to patronize these establishments.

- The already hard hit, California lodging facilities will lose business, with the unvaccinated forced to stay at Airbnb type vacation rentals when traveling.

- Employers, already struggling to find staff, will have to fire those who refuse to get vaccinated, leaving them even more short-handed.

- Employers will take on the burden of liability, opening themselves up to Civil Rights and vaccine injury liability lawsuits.

- Employers will see workers compensation and insurance costs skyrocket.

If this bill passes, the real question is where does it end? The removal of your driver's license, throttled internet access, flight bans?  A social credit score system that monitors everything you do?  If you think this could never be a reality in California, take a look at China

and consider the billion dollar deals Governor Newsom has made with China over the past 18 months.

Abbott and Costello, “Who’s on First” updated version

Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’

Lou: ‘Why not?’

Bud: ‘Well, because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’

Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’

Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’

Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’

Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’

Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’

Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’

Bud: ‘Yes.’

Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’

Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’

Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’

Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’

Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’

Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’

Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’

Lou: ‘So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’

Bud: ‘Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’

Lou: ‘I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick.

Bud: ‘Ok.’

Lou: ‘And the guy you let in IS sick.’

Bud: ‘That’s right.’

Lou: ‘And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’

Bud: ‘Certainly.’

Lou: ‘So why can’t I go in again?’

Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ‘I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’

Bud: ‘I’m just telling you how it is.’

Lou: ‘Never mind. I’ll just put on my mask.’

Bud: ‘That’s fine.’

Lou: ‘Now I can go in?’

Bud: ‘Absolutely not?’

Lou: ‘But I have a mask!’

Bud: ‘Doesn’t matter.’

Lou: ‘I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’

Bud: ‘I know.’

Lou: ‘So why can’t I come in here today with a mask?  If you say ‘because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’

Bud: ‘Take it easy buddy.’

Lou: ‘So the mask is no good anymore.’

Bud: ‘No, it’s still good.’

Lou: ‘But I can’t come in?’

Bud: ‘Correct.’

Lou: ‘Why not?’

Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’

Lou: ‘But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’

Bud: ‘Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’

Lou: ‘But they’re all vaccinated.’

Bud: ‘Yes, but they can still get sick.’

Lou: ‘But I’m not sick!!’

Bud: ‘You can still get them sick.’

Lou: ‘So then masks don’t work!’

Bud: ‘Masks work quite well.’

Lou: ‘So how in the heck can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’

Bud: ‘Third base.’

Wait, what?
