In my never-ending quest for Truth, Pain Relief and Yummy Food, I have found and remembered a few products and tips that are worth sharing.
Here they are:
CBD/Hemp Oil
I had asked the folks at Just CBD to send me a sample of one of their CBD products to relieve pain. Not only did they do that but they sent me a bunch of products to check out. When I first saw the bottle called Jet Setter, I thought that it was something to relax you when you fly on an airplane. But after I read the info, I found out that it was a gummy bear multi-vitamin. They also have it in capsules.
The box was huge and filled with all sorts of goodies including gummy bears, multi-vitamin, licorice, dried fruit, oils, soap, honey oil, hemp seed oil and a delicious coconut and hemp oil pain relief lotion. The edible snacks were very tasty (dried mango), gummy bears (cherry) and gummy bear multi-vitamins. I got kind of sleepy afterwards and had a 3-1/2 hour nap ! I completely conked out and I have not been sleeping too well lately so this was a very happy and unexpected surprise!
Not only that but I felt my chest OPEN up and I can breathe better and the pain in my knees from osteoarthritis went away for awhile, too. The coconut lotion smells delicious, too.
All of their products are infused with organic hemp oil. Now I know what the big fuss is about. I have heard good things about using CBD oil but this is the first time I’ve tried it myself. Will definitely continue using these products.

Himalayan Pin Salt-Sole Therapy
A few years ago, I discovered this amazing resource. The water you drink with Himalayan pink salt every morning is filled with 84 minerals including magnesium. It is quite diluted so the salty taste is ok because you drink a glass every morning on an empty stomach. When I was drinking this, it took away my cravings for chocolate, sweets and more. Try it, you just might like it.
Original Himalayan Crystal Salt® is found in a remote location high in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, where it is carefully mined by hand.
After I had my first breast cancer surgery, a dear friend who has Canadian American parents who are healthcare providers told me about this tea. The real tea not the other teas you might see online or at the health food store. The real deal from Canada that was created originally by Dr Renee Caisse (Essiac spelled backwards! from Canada. It has 8 herbs in a powder form and you make the tea and drink it every day. People have gotten amazing results from it. I had some tea back then, the taste was a little challenging and I did not stay where I was living for long. On the road, it was difficult to maintain so drinking it went by the wayside. Am going to get some, make some tea and get back on this soon.
Eight herbs are Blessed Thistle, Burdock Root (years ago I started using this herb when I had colds all the time and they stopped when I began using this great blood cleanser/purifier), now maybe I will get a cold once a year, Kelp, Red Clover, Sheep Sorrel, Slipper Elm Bark, Turkish Rhubarb Root and Watercress.
Dr Cate on Bill Maher
I was watching Bill Maher on Youtube, great interview with this doctor who shared some tips. The interview got cut short so I will look and find another version to finish the rest of the show. But here are tips I found on her website that you might want to check out. Basically, she recommends using olive oil, coconut oil and xxxx oil and not using eight oils she says are terrible for our health. Shared some of her tips about products to buy and/or make below the links. Enjoy !

Get plain whole milk, Greek or regular. If you can’t find whole milk be sure to add some good fats.
Greek versus Regular: Greek is more mellow than regular, it has less acid and more protein. Regular has more minerals and probiotics and the acid enhances your digestive health.
Best tasting regular yogurts:
Stonyfield Cream Top Grass Milk. Other good yogurts: Horizon and Organic Valley. Any plain, whole milk yogurt is going to be good for you.
Best Greek Yogurt. Any organic brand. If you can’t afford organic, any unflavored yogurt will be good for you.
Sauces
Hollandaise Mix, Knorr: Great on steamed veggies, chicken, eggs and fish
https://www.knorr.com/ca/en/products/knorr-classic-sauces/hollandaise-classic-sauce.html
There is a tiny bit of canola in this mix but you’ll be adding plenty of healthy fats from butter and milk so all the good fat makes it worth the little bit of bad.
Sliced vegetables
You can find a wide variety of sliced vegetables and even riced cauliflower these days. Most stores carry these near where they sell the tubs of salad greens. Common pre sliced fresh vegetables are carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, onions and mushrooms, and there are bags that contain combinations that work great for stir fries and for casseroles.
They don’t keep as long as whole veggies so use within a few days. Also be sure to cook them as opposed to eating them raw, as the extra handling can increase the risk of germs that you will kill if you cook them adequately.
Frozen vegetables
Frozen peas, green beans, lima and string beans, spinach and other veggies are generally already cooked and you can simply warm them up in a pot with butter and salt, or add to a pot of hot chicken stock along with meat for a quick drop in soup (see Fast Easy Meals, below)
Creamed Spinach, Green Giant Steamers

Explore Cuisine makes bean-based pastas that are high in protein and fiber and lower in carb so less likely to raise blood sugar or insulin. I have tried the black bean spaghetti and can tell you it is coarser than regular spaghetti and the water you boil it in gets black and the color of the pasta is blackish-grey but the taste is neutral and it works nicely to absorb sauces. https://www.explorecuisine.com/en/products/bean-pastas.html
Spaghetti sauce
Ragu makes a line using only olive oil and no junk oils called Simply Chunky
Simply Nature
Organic, all natural at Aldi’s
Smuckers makes an organic, all natural peanut butter
