Parents who are already extremely angry at the FDA, CDC, Biden Administration and Democrat Governors for making their children wear masks, get experimental injections, become injured and ignored and sit outside in the cold away from their class mates really DO NOT want to hear how they should just shut up and leave everything up to the experts. The same experts who they do NOT trust just as they do NOT trust the pseudo-science restrictions and ever changing policies.
But the Democrats LOVE to LOSE especially after they’ve won the White House and Congress. So here they go ramping up even more voters to NOT vote for them in 2022. They love to play victims to the GOP and away we go into 2022. But are they really victims? Hah.
Insulting parents, voters, their base and the country seems to be their number one priority. If not this is what they should do via Alex Berenson:
The only sane political move at this point is to drop ALL mandates - vaccine and otherwise - and ALL asymptomatic or quarantine testing (dropping all non-hospital testing would be even better) - and declare victory and go home. Even if the country weren’t burned out on scare stories and sick of being lied to, the reality of these figures is already obvious to most people. (Including LeBron James.)
When your media water-carriers have to write articles explaining the difference between Covid and a cold… it’s over.
So why won’t Uncle Joe just say so? Because the current strategy isn’t working - not politically, and not for the country. It’s time to surrender to the ro like you did to the Taliban and to inflation. At least this time admitting the problem will fix it.
But will they do that??? They keep changing their minds and confusing everyone. For instance:
President Biden delivered a cryptic warning to the nation’s governors when he said there is “no federal solution” to the COVID-19 outbreaks and called on the states to do more.
The message was in stark contrast to his campaign pledge to “crush the virus” with a federal response that he said eluded former President Donald Trump.
“There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level,” Mr. Biden said on a conference call with the governors about the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Though Mr. Biden sought to assure the governors that the federal response would not hamper their efforts, his call for more help from states underscored the administrations’ failure to bring the pandemic under control.
Mr. Biden’s efforts to stop the spread of the virus include a vaccine mandate for federal workers and private businesses, a push for increased testing and mask requirements in federal buildings, airports, and public transportation.
And yet, since taking office, more than 400,000 people have died in the U.S. from COVID-19, roughly the same number of deaths attributed to the virus in 2020.
The Great Covid Migration: One Million Moved Out of Blue States
The stringencies of Covid policies seemingly prompted one of the largest interstate population shifts in a generation.
by Justin Hart
Our colleague @birb_k on Twitter has crafted a masterful thread documenting in 10 charts the large population migrations coinciding with draconian Covid policies and the enticement of more free states.
One key highlight from the charts:
On a net basis, nearly a million people who called Blue states home in early 2020, now call Red states home. CA, NY, IL biggest losses. FL, TX, AZ biggest gains.
Chart 3/10. Net migration vs. vaccine mandates. 13 states that have banned/blocked mandates received net increase of nearly three-quarters of a million people. Conversely over 800K people no longer call states home that have vaccine mandates. Base map NYT. Black/blue/red mine.
Chart 8/10. Public policy around child education appears to be a big influencer. Looking at the 25 states with most in-person education during 2020/2021 school year, vs the 25 states with lowest in-person education, reveals a net movement of over 800K people during Covid.
Fleeing New York
In certain parts of the country – namely, states with no massive mandates or lockdowns – the novel coronavirus pandemic seems to have had a less noticeable impact on the daily lives of individuals and business owners. Other states, like California and New York, have been dealing with perpetual “states of emergencies,” rapidly expanding mandates and other impositions that threaten the autonomy and basic rights of their citizens.
Now, lawmakers in New York appear to be taking steps to mirror the Orwellian moves of Australia, where quarantine camps for COVID positive individuals (and even COVID negative individuals) are now commonplace.
New York Senate preparing to vote on a bill that would allow for forced removal of COVID positive individuals
As reported by The National Pulse, the New York Senate and Assembly are preparing to vote in the next legislative session (to be held on January 5, 2022) on a bill that would lay the groundwork for forced “removal of cases, contacts, and carriers of communicable diseases who are potentially dangerous to the public health.”
Reading through the bill, free citizens of New York – and the entire country – can find plenty of reason to worry.
The bill stipulates several possible changes, including the following:
“Removal and detention of cases, contacts, and carriers who are or may be a danger to public health … in the event that the governor declares a state of health emergency due to an epidemic of any communicable disease”
The governor (or his or her delegates, “including, but not limited to, the commissioner or the heads of local health departments”) may order the removal and/or detention of a person or group of people, identified by name or by a “reasonably specific description of the individuals or group being detained”
Individuals targeted for forced quarantine “shall be detained in a medical facility or other appropriate facility or premises designated by the governor or his or her delegee”
Note that these individuals who could be forcibly removed from their homes and interned in a medical facility do not even have to test positive for COVID-19 – they could simply be someone who has been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person.
indoctrinating children is always the authoritarian endgame
imagine living in such an entitled, hallucinatory bubble that you could say this out loud and expect people to agree with you.
just because they are your kids, your responsibility, and attend a school you paid for, why should you get a say in what they learn?
we are the experts and we know best.
the last 2 years have provided quite a potent taste of rule by dictatorial technocrats.
how did you like it?
so how about waking up to the fact that the schools have been permeated by this for decades?
because it has become one of the great problems of our time.
this is, of course, classic marxist/authoritarian doctrine. the children are not your children, they are the state’s children and their education is to serve the collective. the state shall decide their “consciousness” not their regressive parents and certainly not the children themselves.
it’s worth remembering a couple things:
this is always and everywhere true,
government and voting alone is not going to fix this.
we must. the real solutions lie with us.
make school choice THE issue of our time. tie the money to the kids and let every family choose where to spend it. let a free market in education flourish. build, from the bottom up, the system of schools we need.
top down educational diktat is a grotesque failure.
every year we spend more and get less.
every year, the schools become less about learning and increasingly about indoctrination.
this is the way a civilization dies when it should be thriving and unlike many of the world’s problems, this one is EASY to fix.
the money is all there. the technology is there. the teachers are there. all we have to do is stop wasting it all and allow choice and competition to restore competence and focus.
we spend over $250,000 a year per class of 20 on public education in the US.
try to tell me with a straight face that this is not enough money for an incredible education.
all that is lacking is the will to roll up sleeves and make this happen.
sure, it will take some doing and comprise real work, especially early on, but consider the alternative.
how has “waiting for the government to fix education” been working out for you?
The Democrats' Education Lunacies Will Bring Back Trump
Terry McAuliffe lost the Virginia governor's race by saying, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what to teach." If that was no gaffe, Democrats have a lot more significant losing ahead
Matt Taibbi
…doubling down and applying to education the same formula that Democrats brought with disastrous results to a whole range of other issues in the Trump years, telling voters that they should get over themselves and learn to defer to “experts” and “expertise.”
This was a bad enough error in 2016 when neither Democrats nor traditional Republicans realized how furious the public was with “experts” on Wall Street who designed horrifically unequal bailouts, or “experts” on trade who promised technical retraining that never arrived to make up for NAFTA job josses, or Pentagon “experts” who promised we’d find WMDs in Iraq and be greeted as liberators there, and so on, and so on. Ignoring that drumbeat, and advising Hillary Clinton to run on her 25 years of “experience” as the ultimate Washington insider, won the Democratic Party leaders four years of Donald Trump.
It was at least understandable how national pols could once believe the public valued their “professional” governance on foreign policy, trade, the economy, etc. Many of these matters probably shouldn’t be left to amateurs (although as has been revealed over and over of late, the lofty reputations of experts often turn out to be based mainly upon their fluidity with gibberish occupational jargon), and disaster probably would ensue if your average neophyte was suddenly asked to revamp, say, the laws governing securities clearing.
But parenting? For good reason, there’s no parent anywhere who believes that any “expert” knows what’s better for their kids than they do. Parents of course will rush to seek out a medical expert when a child is sick, or has a learning disability, or is depressed, or mired in a hundred other dilemmas. Even through these inevitable terrifying crises of child rearing, however, all parents are alike in being animated by the absolute certainty — and they’re virtually always right in this — that no one loves their children more than they do, or worries about them more, or agonizes even a fraction as much over how best to shepherd them to adulthood happy and in one piece.
Implying the opposite is a political error of almost mathematically inexpressible enormity.
What a majority of Americans DO NOT want in 2022 is more COVID-mania, hysteria and restrictions.

COVIDMANIA AND THE DESIRE FOR CRISIS AND MEANING
Mark Oshinskie
Since when do we lock down an entire society for a respiratory virus, especially when only unhealthy, old or obese people are at risk? BTW, well over 95% of the old, unhealthy, infected survived without treatment.
The “Pandemic(!) has given them something to which to devote themselves. The “We’re all in this together” and the demonstrably false “my mask—and then my vaxx—protect you” propaganda was targeted very effectively at the meaning seekers.
Taking steps to “stop the spread” felt heroic to them. They could claim—and often did on the Net—that they cared more about their fellow Americans than did those who opposed lockdowns, masks and “vaxxes.” They saw— and incredibly, still see— themselves as occupying higher moral ground; though people who purport to care so deeply about the elderly dying with the virus did not, in my awareness, frequently visit nursing homes before the Scamdemic.
(Nor do they care that 50% of those without homes are seniors in the USA and that nursing homes are rife with abuse and neglect)
Being heroic has never been as easy as during Coronamania. Covid heroism has entailed staying home and watching Netflix or YouTube, ordering takeout meals and groceries, wearing political theater masks, taking a few injections and sending mean tweets about those who questioned the worth of any of that nonsense. The Corona “social distancing” measures weren’t hard for the misanthropic or introverted, or for those who got paid not to work, or received other “free” government money and could skip their commutes.
…Overall, the Corona fearful want to show that, by relying on their smarts and sacrifice, they will slay a formidable foe. This is ludicrous. The data show what has been obvious from Day 1: nearly everyone survives infection, and humans can’t crush respiratory viruses.
Various politicians are hoping that some Americans will remain as gullible as they have been for the past 22 months, and that some voters will mistakenly credit government interventions for improving statistics. But many tens of millions have developed natural immunity and the virus is weakening naturally. Additionally, many people have found and used inexpensive, effective preventive measures and therapeutics, despite the government’s active, sinister efforts to suppress knowledge about self-care.
Ultimately, it’s been painful to see that normal life is so unsatisfying for many people that they have been willing to drop a nuclear bomb on society in order to live out a crisis fantasy.
