There is a lot of information, disinformation, misinformation and misunderstandings in the media and social media. Below, I have compiled information from credible sources (doctors, scientists, the ADA and other health experts) to provide current information about Covid19.
Doctors, health experts and scientists have differing opinions about this and some have changed their minds over time.
You may or may not agree with any of this. Do Your Own Research.
Where did the virus come from?
SARS-CoV-2 may not be a new virus after all. A highly conserved close ancestor was already in the database under the name BtCoV/4991. The question is, why has this been covered up?
Mainstream Media
Forbes original article about the origin of COVID19.
Why did they update the original article?
A rare mainstream news article dared to look at both the engineering and leaking issue was published in The Wall Street Journal May 29, 2020. Noted in this article, “New research has deepened, rather than dispelled, the mystery surrounding the origin of the coronavirus responsible for Covid-19.”
In his article, “So Where Did Covid Come From?” foreign reporter Ian Birrell also points out “It’s not mere conspiracy theory to ask if this new coronavirus leaked from a Wuhan lab.” Meanwhile, CNN continues to push the zoonotic narrative by airing a special on the connection between bats and COVID-19.
An April 2020 paper, “Is Considering a Genetic-Manipulation Origin for SARS-CoV-2 a Conspiracy Theory That Must Be Censored?” by Deigin and Rossana Segreto.
Scientists Versus Drug Industry Media
There is an ever-widening gulf between scientists and drug-industry-run media. While a majority of the press corps insist there is a “consensus” on the natural zoonotic origin of SARS-CoV-2, scientists keep publishing evidence to the contrary.
The fear of exposure of what happened is real, and if you see the words “consensus” or “conspiracy theory,” you are likely seeing an attempt at a cover-up. What are they afraid of?
There are many reasons for protecting the narrative that SARS-CoV-2 is of a natural origin. If it is proven to be a lab creation, the public may demand biosafety/biowarfare research into dangerous pathogens be stopped.
Thousands of scientists involved in such research would lose their jobs if funding came to a halt and biosafety level 4 laboratories were to be shut down to prevent another global manmade pandemic from occurring. These laboratories pose probably one of the greatest of any threats to humankind. We deserve to have a serious debate about their risks and benefits.
Aside from threatening the future of biosafety/biowarfare research in general, many could potentially face life in prison for violating the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989.
China has every reason to quell evidence that the pandemic originated in its first BSL4 laboratory, as it could be held legally responsible and restitution claims from affected nations would likely run in the trillions of dollars.
According to tech analyst Ray Wang, founder of Constellation Research Inc., colleagues within the Chinese scientific community told him they were prohibited from discussing the “new strain of flu” that had emerged in China in January 2020, because the Chinese Communist Party wanted to prevent the outbreak from becoming publicly known. According to Wang:
“Nobody wanted to talk about it because there was a dual-use lab. If you’re a government, you don’t want to hurt your own people either. Today, what’s actually happening is they are trying to cover up for that.”
But American scientists and health organizations would also be implicated, as the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), under the leadership of Dr. Anthony Fauci, funded coronavirus gain-of-function research being done in Wuhan, China.
There’s a lot at stake.
Censorship
The fact that some scientific findings are being censored wholesale while others are being promoted as “consensus” is extremely dangerous and undermines the field of science as a whole.
When the press corps is no longer free to report facts and is instead used as an industry and political propaganda machine to the exclusion of truth, it can only lead to a devolution of society. Is that really what we want? The COVID-19 pandemic, and the economic and social disaster brought in its wake, is a wakeup call to the world.
We cannot afford to continue dangerous gain-of-function research on pathogens. We need to get to the bottom of its origin, so that steps can be taken to ensure something like this does not happen again.
Nursing Homes, Homeless Shelters: Deadly Discrimination
COVID-19 has ripped through nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, and other congregate settings for people with disabilities. People living in these settings make up less than 1 percent of the U.S. population, but nearly 50 percent of COVID-19 deaths.
Some have said these deaths are inevitable. Some have even called for “weeding out the weak” as part of herd mentality. But these deaths are far from inevitable. They arise from decades of indifference, invisibility, and deadly discrimination against the people who live and work in these settings. They also arise from our government’s abdication of its responsibility to regulate and monitor these segregated institutions.
Congregate settings for people with disabilities include nursing homes, psychiatric facilities, and intermediate care facilities for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Long before COVID-19, these facilities already had a poor track record with insufficient oversight, poor infection control, under-staffing, and inadequate training. Combined, these conditions created the powder keg. COVID-19 lit the match.
Mask Mania
If you dare to question the science behind wearing a mask, you are told that you must be a TRUMP SUPPORTER, and/or judged lazy, selfish, dumb and more. Clutch your pearls now, maybe it’s a big “social experiment” to get you to voluntarily comply, and has nothing to do with health. says ChrisWick.
You do NOT have to be a Trump supporter to question what is going on and why you are being forced to wear a mask. (Mandatory in California now).
Otherwise intelligent people are saying things like: Virus flies around in the air. What kind of nonsense are otherwise intelligent people believing about this virus ?
Doctor Jacob Teitelbaum (and other doctors agree with him) says:
It’s prudent to take reasonable cautions. Not everybody needs to be wearing a mask every minute. But if you are in an enclosed space, it is reasonable to be wearing one as a courtesy to others. If you have the virus, you are less likely to put it into the common air in the building.
When you’re outside, the breeze tends to blow the virus away and keeps it from accumulating and concentrating in the air. When I go for walks on the hiking trail each morning, I don’t wear a mask, nor are most of the other people on the trail. If they were, I would wear the mask just to be courteous. On the other hand, if I’m in a supermarket or other enclosed space, or where there are a lot of people, I wear a mask to be considerate of others. Whether or not it’s necessary.
1- because we don’t know, and so many people have been made so fearful by the news media, it is a social courtesy to wear a mask when indoors in public areas. This is because with a lot of people in a small space, the viral particles in the air can build up enough to be concerned
2- outdoors, unless one is in very close proximity with many other people, I think wearing a mask is silly. Because of the size of the atmosphere and the breeze blowing the virus away, it does not build up in high enough levels to be infectious. But it is okay for people to wear masks if they feel like it.
More importantly? If you put many people with and without the virus in a relatively small enclosed place for extended periods, about 1/3 of people will catch the virus. Only half of those will develop any significant symptoms. And a relatively small percent of those who do will develop Severe symptoms.
Research and Vaccines
Current research is suggesting that even after infection, after two months the protective antibody levels go too low to offer protection. Which does not bode well for vaccines being effective for this virus. So more important is to look at why some people easily shrug off the virus, where others get severe illness.
People with Disabilities
There are 42 million Americans with respiratory health issues who cannot breathe normally. They may have a disability. Doctors and scientists have different opinions about wearing masks. Listen to your healthcare provider and doctors and do your own research.
First and foremost, it is important to remember that this implicates the ADA. Unlike with employees, businesses are very limited in what questions and/or documentation they can ask the customer to provide regarding a disability under the ADA. For example, when dealing with a customer who brings a dog into a business, under the ADA a business is limited to asking two questions:
Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?; and
What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
Businesses are not allowed to inquire as to the nature of the person’s disability, request documentation of the dog being a service animal, or require that the dog demonstrate its task.
My dog Cici was allowed inside churches, grocery stores, beauty salons, department stores, book stores, hotels and motels and other places. She was a service dog. Rarely, we got asked those questions and I told them what she did for me.
As a human being with a disability:
With regard to masks, generally the ADA prohibits places of public accommodation having restrictions that would limit access to an individual with a disability. However, the ADA does allow restrictions when an individual would pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic is currently considered a direct threat by the EEOC, a business would likely be on solid ground to require customers to wear face masks or covering when entering into their premises. That said, a business would not have the absolute right to refuse to provide a customer service based upon the customer’s refusal to wear a mask. When faced with a customer who is refusing to wear a face mask or covering, businesses should likely limit any questions to the following:
Are you unable to wear a mask because of a disability?
If the answer is “Yes,” then instead of additional questions regarding the disability or demanding documentation, the business should consider moving to engaging the customer in an interactive process to determine possible alternative methods of service that would allow the business to keep its employees and other customers safe, while still providing service/goods to the customer.
In order to address these issues, we recommend providing information, action plans and training to managers, supervisors and employees on how to address these situations and avoid heated confrontations and/or potential litigation. Of course, involving legal counsel in reviewing or putting together your training, documents and action plans will further help limit potential legal problems and costly litigation down the road.
