‘Mandates and Freedom Don’t Mix’ — 30,000+ Rally in DC to Fight for Our Constitutional Rights

Dozens of scientific experts, academics, media personalities and COVID vaccine injury victims risked their careers, their personal privacy and their safety to tell more than 30,000 Americans at Sunday’s “Defeat the Mandates” rally to stand up and fight for freedom and democracy.

Our Side of the Story:

My Autonomy is Not Negotiable, My Country Is Not An 'Opportunity For a Reset', and Why I'm Going to Stand With The Trucker Convoy in Ottawa

From Julius Ruechel

(Quick link to the full article on my website)

As you probably already know, there is a massive convoy of truckers travelling across our country on route to Ottawa. As it crosses into Manitoba, it has already grown to over 50,000 trucks and is already over 70 km long, with countless citizens joining in the journey. Soon it will arrive in our nation's capital. Other convoys from Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes are already arriving. And countless concerned citizens, like myself, will be joining them on Parliament Hill. Together we will brave the cold (and whatever tactics Justin Trudeau tries to throw at us to silence our voices) in order to flood the streets of our capital city with a peaceful law-abiding message of freedom that will not be ignored.

I hope you will join us in Ottawa. And please share this essay with every person you know, especially those who are most afraid of the virus, so that both sides of this story will finally be heard.

This essay is an urgent appeal to all the politicians, public health officials, policemen, judges, doctors, journalists, and to every single person in Canada and all around the world who continues to support mandatory public health measures, vaccine mandates, and coercion. I would like to give you a complete picture of what is at stake, from my perspective, so you can judge my decision to stand with the trucker convoy on Parliament Hill by reading my own words and not the distorted words of our mainstream media.

For two straight years the world has only heard your side of the debate. Now it is time for you to hear ours. It is time for you to recognize what you are doing, what you are breaking, the illiberal world you are creating, acknowledge the way in which you are using the pandemic as an opportunity to rewrite the economic and legal underpinnings of our society, and address the elephant in the room: are any of your heavy-handed measures actually achieving anything other than to destroy the fabric of society?

Although this essay barely scratches the surface of all that has happened, I hope it may provide an accurate overview of the enormity of what has happened over these past two years and serve as the first step towards a long-overdue conversation.

canada: the talking points vs the reality

el gato malo

there seems to be some divergence in between the “official narrative” in canada and what is really going on on the ground.

…these are not “unacceptable views.” this is the bedrock foundation of basic liberty.

these are free people who will not submit the imposition of “health passports” because they know where that leads. they know what follows the thin end of that wedge if you allow it to be driven in. this leads to “your papers please” as a prerequisite to having a life.

and pretty soon, they stop saying please.

and pretty soon, they attach your bank accounts, your job, your social media, your kids, and everything else they can find to it and you have a real live social credit system to impose remote control totalitarian tyranny.

anyone who still thinks this is a conspiracy theory needs to remember that these same people were calling vaccine passports a conspiracy theory what, 3 or 4 months ago? you could get kicked off twitter for claiming they were coming.

the distance between “that’s a conspiracy theory” and “of course the government is doing that and here’s why it’s a good thing for you” is getting awfully short around here.

…these truckers want to break this cycle before it goes really, really bad.

and they can.

watch tyrannical trudie’s face in that video at the top. compare it to the one linked in the incipient fascism post.

he’s not smug anymore. he looks harried. he looks scared.

that’s because this is real and this is what works. this is the massive uprising and the sign that the people are NOT with him. and no one will be able to miss it anymore.

trudeau has a 36% approval rating and if this holds, it’s going to end him. and what a good riddance to bad baggage that will be.

his government deserves to fall.

and the people deserve better.

and this is how they get it.

this is not “let’s march and carry signs on sunday and go back to work on monday".” this is “let’s bring this place to a dead stop until you stop vilifying and attacking us and trying to take our rights away.”

this is real pressure, peaceful and implacable.

justin would have you believe these are the deluded few.

but they are not.

they are the enlightened many.

justin would have you believe these are the enemies of the state.

but they are not.

they are its champions.

justin would have you call these people science deniers and racists and misogynists seeking to drag you into darkness.

but they are not.

they are the light.

it is trudeau and his WEF ideologue cronies who comprise the darkness and the night they bring is indeed full of terrors.

these people are liars and manipulators. they are demagogues and denigrators. they divide and they conquer and to this end they have erected a cultish system of submission as hallucinatory as it is oppressive.

and their time is done.

they had a shot at the off ramps, and they chose not to take them.

they have overplayed their hand.

they woke the lions.

this is the good fight.

join it, support it, cheer it on and lend your voices.

this is what ungovernability looks like.

this is emergent order and action to restore liberty.

you get to keep the rights that you’re willing to fight for. no more. but no less either.

this is the template.

this is the way.

stand.

11,000-Truck, 93-Mile-Long ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protests Canada’s Vaccine Mandate, as Government Digs in Heels

As the “Freedom Convoy” of truckers protesting Canada’s vaccine mandates rolled through southeast Alberta, Canadian government officials reiterated support for the policy that requires Canadian and U.S. truckers to show proof of vaccination in order to cross the border.

As the “Freedom Convoy” of truckers protesting Canada’s vaccine mandates rolled through southeast Alberta, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Monday slammed conservative politicians, accusing them of fear-mongering.

“I regret that the Conservative Party and conservative politicians are fear-mongering to Canadians about the supply chain, but the reality is that vaccination is how we’re going to get through this,” Trudeau told reporters who asked if the mandate policy could disrupt supply chains.

The 11,000-truck, 93-mile long convoy is traveling from the country’s westernmost province, British Columbia, toward Ottawa, the country’s capital, where they will hold a demonstration on Jan. 29. The truckers said they will not leave until the mandates are lifted.

The Toronto Star reported the convoy drew “large crowds of supporters from across the region, many holding signs and waving flags.”

As of Jan. 15, the Canadian government required all truck drivers entering Canada from the U.S., regardless of citizenship, to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Any driver who cannot show proof of vaccination will be denied entry and placed in quarantine for two weeks.

The U.S. government implemented the same policy last week on the American side of the border.

“We’re going to end mandates,” convoy co-organizer Chris Barber said.

“It’s not about anti-vaccination — that’s everybody’s personal choice — this is about the mandates,” said Barber.

He added:

“The straw that broke the camel’s back was the U.S.A. border for commercial drivers, and you have to show the COVID passport — a lot of guys are going to lose their jobs over that.”

Barber, a truck driver of 28 years, said he himself is vaccinated, but he wants to support fellow drivers who are not.

“This (COVID-19 vaccination) passport has gone too far,” said Barber. “If we can’t get across the border freely, and we’re being forced to [be vaccinated] by the federal government, we can take a stand or we can’t.”

The Canadian Trucking Alliance and the American Trucking Associations said up to 26,000 of the 160,000 drivers who make regular trips across the Canada-U.S. border are likely to be sidelined by the vaccine mandate.

During a press conference Monday, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe called the mandate “unnecessary” since many truckers are vaccinated and rapid tests are widely available in Canada.

“It’s an unnecessary policy and it’s one that’s going to have, unfortunately, potentially some significant impacts on us accessing essential services, including food that we need in our communities,” said Moe.

A number of Conservative Party politicians joined Moe Monday in expressing concern about the economic impact of the mandate. Parliament member Melissa Lantsman, the party’s transport critic, urged supporters to sign a petition opposing new vaccine requirements.

Lantsman claimed the policy would result in the loss of thousands of jobs and “empty shelves in Canadian retail sectors.”

Neither Trudeau nor his ministers have yet presented a plan to deal with potential supply line disruptions, but Tuesday the government and industry allies made clear they weren’t backing down on the mandate.

In a joint statement, Transport Minister Omar Alghabra, Labour Minister Seamus O’Regan, Employment Minister Carla Qualtrough and Stephen Laskowski, president of the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), said COVID vaccines are the “most effective tool to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and protect public health.”

In an interview with CBC’s Power & Politics, Alghabra said the government is not interested in alternatives like rapid testing for unvaccinated truckers.

He said truckers and the wider industry have had months to prepare for the new regulations and drivers must now get the shot or stop driving over the border.

Industries already affected by a chronic shortage of truckers worry about the economic impact of more driver shortages under the new mandate.

Joel Neuheimer, vice president of the Forest Products Association of Canada, told the Financial Post’s Larysa Harapyn that the trucker vaccine mandate is hurting the fragile lumber supply chain, as prices per 1,000 board feet have topped more than $1,200 from a pre-pandemic average of $300.

“The mandate on Canadian border trips is hurting when our supply chains are extremely fragile,” said Neuheimer.

“We are basically in the Bill Murray classic Groundhog Day,” he added, “where we are continuing to see” the same price cycles and transportation issues repeatedly.

Meanwhile, support along the route seems to be growing with thousands of Canadians gathering on snowy overpasses to cheer on the convoy whose trucks extend an estimated 90 miles past the fog-shrouded horizon.

To date, the GoFundMe page supporting the Freedom Convoy has raised more than $4.5 million to support the fuel needs of the drivers and, potentially, food and lodging.

The GoFundMe page states that all funds go directly to providers of these services for the truckers. However, on Wednesday, GoFundMe put a hold on the funds.

“We require that fundraisers be transparent about the flow of funds and have a clear plan for how those funds will be spent,” Rachel Hollis, GoFundMe’s director of communications said in an email. She said the company is in touch with the organizer.

Daily video documentation of the drive is available at Rebel News.

Is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Right?

Recent attacks on Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. are unwarranted as his speech expressed a valid opinion about how technology has advanced in ways that make hiding or fleeing from a nation’s imperious actions significantly more challenging now than 80 years ago.

By Rabbi Michael Barclay

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. recently was taken to task in the media and by many Jewish organizations for supposedly comparing the Holocaust to the current events involving personal rights violations.

If he had indeed said that, it would have demonstrated a lack of awareness about the horrors of the Holocaust, the single worst example of hatred and evil by a government in human history.

But that’s not what he did, and not what he said!

Unlike Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who specifically compared the border detainment facilities for illegal aliens to concentration camps, Kennedy never even brought up the Holocaust or its horrors.

Whereas Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) co-sponsored a clearly anti-Semitic bill that morally equates Israel with both the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany’s Holocaust, Kennedy did not equate the uniquely evil events of the Holocaust with anything in today’s world.

So what is all the hullabaloo about and why is Kennedy being so castigated in the public forum?
